Blood Type A
Inch 3 - Organic Food
You may be wondering - out of all the steps we could take, why organic food next? Because Type A blood is sensitive. Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo who developed the Blood Type Diet said " It is particularly important for sensitive Type As to eat their foods in as natural a state as possible: pure, fresh and organic. "I can't emphasize enough how this critical dietary adjustment can be to the sensitive immune system of Type A. With this diet you can supercharge your immune system and potentially short circuit the development of life threatening diseases."
Millimeters (Tips)
1. Choose one meal each day to make organic. (Breakfast is usually the easiest. Suggestions for gluten free, organic breakfasts are scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit and yogurt. Or venture out and buy a gluten free muffin, organic muffin mix or pancake mix. Make them ahead of time so that they're an easy "grab" in a pinch.
2. Make it your goal to be completely gluten free and organic within one month. Habit are created in 21 days. Order one of our Meal Plans for a week to help you with meal ideas.
3. Amazon is a great place to find organic foods and have them shipped straight to your house. Costco has many organic foods as well. Whole Foods, Sprouts and Trader Joe's are our favorite picks for local grocery stores. However, if you don't have these near you, shipping dry goods from Amazon and picking up whatever organic produce your local grocery has are great alternatives. You can also visit local farmers markets for organic produce.
