AB Blood Type Inch 2

Blood Type AB

Inch 2 -  The Meatless Meal

Type AB blood is rare – it’s found in less than five percent of the population. Type AB is sometimes A-like, sometimes B-like and sometimes a fusion of both. According to Dr. D’Adamo, “Type AB has Type A’s low stomach acid, however, they also have Type B’s adaptation to meats. Therefore, you lack enough stomach acid to metabolize them efficiently and the meat you eat tends to get stored as fat.

You may love meat.  But, if you have "AB" blood, meat doesn't love you!

Millimeters (Tips)

1. Start by choosing 2-3 meals that you like that don't contain meat and incorporate them into your weekly meal plan.  Need some ideas?  Look no further:  AB Blood Type Meal Suggestions.

2.  Begin ordering meatless meals when you go to local restaurants. (gluten free pasta, salad, soup, veggie and fruit plates, etc...)

3.  Focus on seafood if you need a meal with a "meat."  Type AB's usually tolerate seafood well.  A few highly beneficial fish are mahi-mahi, red snapper, salmon, sardines, and tuna.
